Palmpay started off as a really good mobile banking app for me—easy to use, fast, and reliable. But everything changed once I started taking loans. The constant calls from random numbers became too much. Even a day before repayment, they’d blow up my phone with endless reminders. It got overwhelming.
I have been using PalmPay for a few months, and it’s super easy to send money and pay bills, love that! The free transfers are a big help, and I even got cashback when I bought data, which was a nice surprise. It’s a great app, but they need to make support faster. Also, the loan interest is high, so I hope they can lower it.
I have always paid back my loans on time and never had issues with repayments. But recently, I borrowed a small amount from Palmpay just around ₦5,000 with a short repayment window. A day before the due date, I started receiving calls from their agents, which I found quite unnecessary.
The repayment day came, and the money I was counting on didn’t come through as expected. I ended up being just two days late. During that short delay, I kept getting back-to-back calls from different people, each one sounding more aggressive than the last.
For someone who has never defaulted, I honestly expected a little more understanding. It’s not just about collecting money how you treat your customers matters too. Palmpay really needs to train their reps to handle situations better, especially with loyal users.
I have been using PalmPay for a while now I and have been enjoying their service since then but one thing I dislike about PalmPay is that anytime I have issues is and I wanted to talk to their customer care is AI customer care that is reply me and AI reply wouldn’t satisfy me so palm team need to work on this,though banking with you have been a better experience over the year,thanks
Palmpay need to work on their loan feature......I wanted to take a loan from their app and they are telling me to wait for 15 days before I can take and the money was urgent then.......it just piss me off though their banking service is fast and easy..... Even their loan interest is very high like very hard
