In 1st of May, I paid ₦3,900 for a GOtv Jinja subscription for my brother-in-law using my bank App. The payment was successful and I was debited, but for over 3 hours, the decoder kept showing an E-16 error.
We called GOtv customer care several times, but the responses were not helpful. Eventually, we were told that the decoder had "entered code" and needed to be taken to a GOtv center for a swap.
However, when we got there, we were simply told to buy a new decoder, no proper explanation was given, and we’re still left without clear answers. It was a very disappointing and frustrating experience especially when customer support is poor.
